Why DFC
DFC Suspension was founded in 2021 by Rob Simmons, but the foundation started long before the business name existed. A lifelong focus on motorcycles, fabrication, hydraulics, engines, and suspension development shaped the shop into what it is today.
Every build combines rider feedback, mechanical inspection, tuning experience, and dyno-verified data where applicable. Individual rider files and build records keep the work connected to the rider, the motorcycle, and how it is actually used.

Service Divisions
From suspension feel to internal engine work, each service stays focused on function, reliability, and the motorcycle as a complete system.

01
Core Division
Service and tuning for motocross, off-road, flat track, ATV, UTV, street, and competition applications.
Service process
The recommendation begins with the rider and the job—not a generic setting copied from another motorcycle.
01
Rider, motorcycle, discipline, terrain, pace, feedback, and goals.
02
Mechanical condition, measurements, current setup, and required scope.
03
Service, tuning, assembly, and dyno confirmation where applicable.
04
Clear settings, build records, and a starting point for rider feedback.
Suspension Maintenance
Recommended intervals apply to both fork and shock assemblies unless a shorter model-specific interval applies.
| Motorcycle Use | Complete Oil Service | Seal Service / Rebuild Cycle |
|---|---|---|
| Moto and off-road | 15 operating hours | 30 operating hours |
| Moto and off-road racers | 10 operating hours | 20 operating hours |
| BDR / adventure off-road | 15 operating hours | 30 operating hours |
| Track-only – sportbike and supermoto | 15 operating hours | 30 operating hours |
| Adventure – predominantly pavement | 10,000 miles | 20,000 miles |
| Street | 15,000 miles | 30,000 miles |
Service Cycle: Seal service / rebuild occurs every second complete oil service.
Complete Oil Service
Fork service includes all applicable oil chambers and cartridges. Shock service includes disassembly, cleaning, bleeding, and nitrogen recharge.
Seal Service / Rebuild
Includes complete oil service, full disassembly, cleaning, seal replacement, inspection, and applicable wear components.
Classification
Adventure motorcycles used primarily on pavement follow mileage. BDR-style adventure off-road use follows operating hours.
Override
Shorter model-specific manufacturer intervals and condition-based requirements take precedence. Leakage, contamination, crash damage, fade, or abnormal operation require immediate inspection.
