DFC Suspension was founded in 2017 by Rob Simmons, but the foundation started long before the business name existed.

Rob has been riding, racing, building, and studying motorcycles and ATVs since childhood. At 10 years old, he built his first motorcycle from a pile of old bikes his neighbor had, and that early curiosity turned into a lifetime of mechanical problem-solving, fabrication, hydraulics, engine work, and suspension development.

DFC Suspension was built around one purpose: delivering suspension that fits the rider, the motorcycle, and the job it is being asked to do.

We work across disciplines and do not believe in one-size-fits-all suspension setups. Every rider has different terrain, speed, feel preferences, riding goals, and mechanical needs. That is why DFC Suspension keeps individual rider files and build records instead of relying on generic settings or “what worked for someone else.”

Every fork, shock, and setup recommendation is approached as a collaborative build. We combine rider feedback, mechanical inspection, tuning experience, and dyno-verified data where applicable to create suspension that is built around the individual rider.

Our goal is simple: race-proven, properly built suspension with clear communication, up-front pricing, and no guesswork.
